thank you SARAH for the gr8 clothing line...i love everything i have bought ....and more on the way...
keep'em coming....
THX AGAIN your the BEST
which store is selling sarah clothes?
If you can make fashionable clothing for under $20 then it must be from factories in developing countries as no factory in the U.S. or Canada could do it that cheaply. Are these factories paying decent wages? Are they monitored by outside, independent agencies? Is child labor used? The Bitten website does not address any of these concerns. Does the name Kathy Lee Griffen and her clothing scandal ring a bell?
Yeah. I'm not interested in sweatshop clothing. How about Fair Trade?
How about innocent until proven guilty? Why assume sweatshops are used just because the clothing isn't expensive? Talk about pessimism. Glass a little half empty folks?
I agree. Why do some people have to be so negative and assume the worst? I am thrilled about this line of clothing for myself and my daughters.
just because it is inexpensive doesnt mean it was made in a sweat shop...
I know that Steve and Barry's carries her line. And about the sweatshop comment The girl can't win can she? If item are higher then everyone jumps on her case "See another star trying to make a buck" and too low " everyone crys sweatshop". Just to let you know that if you filter down from department store to material cost of a garment some items there is no reason for the price of a $75.00 t-shirt or $300.00 pair of jeans.
In response to JM.......it WASN'T Kathy Lee Griffin.....it was Kathy Lee Gifford! Dah!
I hope the line has plus sizes,I have been looking on line to buy since there isn't a store close by that cells it, can anyone help?
Oh and I am with you on the sweat shop issue, you shouldn't assume since it's inexpensive that it is made using slave labor, I used to work behind the scenes at SAKS 5th Ave and the avg mark up was 300%++++those Prada shoes some of you may own...cost them $50 and they sell them for $560.00+ HUGE MARKUP...kudo's to SJP for making a line of clothing the average person can afford.
Please do the math! Cost of materials, plus time, plus shipping, royalties, taxes, health benefits, credtit card fees, retailers take, wholesaler take...... someone please tell me how you can make a pair of pants and bring it to the American market for under $20.00???? I assume that someone's quality of life is suffering here and will boycott this line of products.
Hi, I just checked out you blog, and your clothing however. My girlfriend Janet is intrested in opening up her own Clothing store in here home town called Lac du Bonnet, MB. She's planning to do her research and go to scool to get her business Admin, and then figure stuff out. But she wants your line, and I just want to support her, and thought I let you know I have all seasons of Sex n The City. And love to see you sometime ... Thanks... Do u have any suggestions for me or for my girlfriend Janet.
To the stupid comment about how a piece of clothing can cost 20$....
Well...i supposed nothing can cost less than 20$ in the US market following your logic.....
Have some respect for your intelligence and do not make stupid commetns
First:
An item can be made to cost under $20.00.
Second:
"Assume that someone's quality of life is suffering here". Something is better than none. Someone buying a ration of food is far better than someone dying from hunger.
Third:
What do you think the cashmere swethers that are for $350.00 COST - JUST FOR YOUR INFORMATION - BETWEEN $25-$35.
DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU SPEAK !!!
YES BEFORE YOU COMMENT ... I MADE A TYPO ERROR ITS SWEATER ...
